ron & hermione should have gotten together at the beginning of book 5: a thread

the yule ball would have been the catalyst for them to realize they like each other. over the summer at grimmauld place they would have started dating bc they were spending so much time together. then, when harry shows up at the end of the summer and is already angsty (1/?)

—because he’s been left out of so much, learning that ron and hermione have been together for months just adds fuel to the fire. ALSO, in book 6 when ron finally makes the quidditch team, we would have gotten jock bf/nerd gf solidarity and it would have been excellent. (2/3?)
