I’ve found that one of my biggest motivators is proving people who underestimate me wrong.
This has happened many times during my tech journey/career, but that’s a story for another day.
Yesterday, I had plans to watch a scary movie but they didn’t work out. I then asked one of my best friends (who’s known me since we were kids) to watch one with me, and she said in a deadpan manner that she doesn’t think I’ll do it 😒 In her defense, I RARELY watch scary movies
BUT GUESS WHAT. This girl is about to watch a scary movie BY HERSELF (surrounded by my family) AT NIGHT (with all the lights on), and I’m about to live tweet it!!
Yes, I know I’m being petty but I hate it when someone tells me I can’t do something. Also, this is another way for me to get out of my comfort zone. So here goes.
I’ve chosen to watch “Hush” on Netflix bc the plot is interesting and sounds scary af. Definitely not the type of movie I would watch alone EVER.
Here’s the plot for those not familiar with the movie:

“A deaf writer who retreated into the woods to live a solitary life must fight for her life when a masked killer appears in her window.”

Like, that sounds creepy, right?!
LET’S GOOOOO
