Hey there. So I had a very negative interaction with @comedy_joey this evening and this is an official call out post.

I’ve unblocked him so that he can have a dialogue if he chooses. Essentially: I raised with him that I was triggered by his posts pretending to be a trans woman so that he could bait terfs into validating him.

he chose to take the opportunity to describe how transphobia is the same thing as transmisogyny. Furthermore, he said that he doesn’t believe that trans women and trans men should be in the same group. I do not like what he did, I still feel triggered. I’d like an apology

Transmisogyny and transphobia are NOT. THE SAME THING. We have extremely different struggles in our day to day lives. Talking over trans women, not listening to trans women, not having dialogues when asked are all things which hurt

I’m slightly annoyed that he chose to block my name out so people couldn’t draw their own conclusions, but that’s reasonable.

Going through my mentions (or having one of his friends stalk my replies) is creepy.

I’m a little bothered by the bathroom thing but mostly it’s just cute. However, as a 6’ non-passing trans fem person who has Not used a woman’s bathroom, i, and generally not trans men, am the target Of the transphobic bathroom discourse.

Generally: I’m triggered. He is making fun of me for being triggered. He is not my ally and I demand an apology.

Anyway, me posting this thread has completely stopped him from making fun of my response to transmisogyny, so that’s a positive outcome
