#LovecraftCountry busted it’s load too soon. Or perhaps the audience did because the visuals sold the story but the finale was just a post coitus cuddle and played out like a black twilight. do with that statement as you please.

all in all. the character i loved THE MOSstest was someone who i think was quite a trailblazer for their circumstances (it literally being 1955) and was under utilized much like the group that they actually represent in that time. #LovecraftCountry

Diane motherfucking Freeman! She was quite daring bold black young lady for her position. She was always going against the bullshit being taught. #LoveCraftCountry

when hippolyta was telling(whispering)her the story of her naming that star she YELLED with glee that her momma named that star. She spit on that cop. she called her momma out on her choosing to be in space instead of her #LoveCraftCountry

She was on track to become what they would call “militant” leading to the more take action approach that led to the 60s civil rights movement #LoveCraftCountry

Letitia fucking Lewis came into the story KNOWING who she was. She was seen as a fuck up by her own family because she used her money to bail out demonstrators protesting for integrating schools #LovecraftCountry

#LovecraftCountry When Gerorge n'em was trying to escape and were scared yet full of misogyny and she just TOOK control of the car. When they woke up at the braithwaite manor she was the one who didn't hesitate to ring that bell for service.

The night of the house party there were like fiftylem men (and Tic) when the racists put that cross out there SHE was the one who got bold enough to put an end to it #LovecraftCountry

She was the only person in the story who didn't have to "discover" themselves because she knew. I hate that once Tic got involved he kinda silenced her like George did Hippolyta. #LovecraftCountry

Leti cast out a racist demon. She was the one who knew the direction to go in that museum. She did the work that Tic swears he was doing. #LovecraftCountry
