So many unnecessary takes on Messi, who was great today (especially in the first half) and not enough on the actual issues Barcelona have.

But it was always going to be this type of season...
Messi seems to be getting his rhythm back after a quick succession of games, something that he himself has said helps him.

The goals will come for the people who are worried about that more than Messi himself. A player who’s scored over 700 goals doesn’t lose that instinct.
Koeman needs to understand that attacking with more players doesn’t = attacking better. His game management today was disgraceful, however I do give him credit for starting the kids, hopefully he sticks to it and doesn’t quiver because of the result.
The treatment of Riqui is also disgraceful. He’s the best progressive passer (after Messi) at the club. Koeman, once again, is shooting himself in the foot. I really don’t get his reasoning.
Pique speaking out this week (FINALLY) was nice to see, better late than never after all. Of course the ‘rational Barça fans’ seem to have a problem with Pique for his words, as they did with Messi’s words also. I’ll side with the guys who have given their lives to the club. đŸ‘đŸ»
As for the upcoming *potential* election -

Do I think Bartomeu will survive the mociĂłn?

I wouldn’t be surprised.

Who do I want to win?

Font or Laporta. However I don’t particularly trust either.
Learning the institutional ongoings of FC Barcelona made me realise a long time ago that things will never truly change (or at least not for a long time.) There’s too much greed and power within the club and people involved.

For decades, this has been an issue at the club.
