So our girl is now heading to/at the ER. We are sitting alone in her apartment in a bit of a panic (her older daughters dad has the younger sister over for pumpkin carving so we are still here for when she is brought home).

Her symptoms suddenly got significantly worse and she called the neuro-ophthalmologist she saw this morning and he said she can't wait a few days for the MRI and CT imaging and has to go right now and he would call ahead to the hospital.

He thinks it may be a brain lesion (either abscess or stroke), but hasn't ruled out possibility of it being a traumatic aneurysm.

We just... Don't know how to calm down because we are so worried and hate that we couldn't go with her

But also we know watching her kids is the best way to help her right now so we understand. But yeah, basically we have to try to calm down enough to be able to watch the almost 2 year old when she gets home and we need to figure out dinner.
