I have voted in every election since I was 18 (municipal, provincial, federal and even student politics).
I have NEVER waited in a line. Not even for 5 mins.
I've also never "registered" to vote in my life.

Watching elders wait in line for hours and hours to vote and people treating it like a feel-good story about tenacity and grit? Deplorable.

I've said this before but I truly think that the abhorrent voting situation in the United States (and the non-stop coverage of it) is a major reason for low voter turnout here in Canada because people assume it's equally as cumbersome.
