Hi everyone, this week has been difficult for me and my family...last Friday (the 16th), my mom suffered a stroke. She was alone when it happened. I flew immediately to the hospital and have been with her since.

I do not know at all what I am doing and it's only been thru /

friends and literal prayer that I haven't fallen completely apart from grief, the wave of information i've had to absorb and the unknown of these next few months as i coordinate her treatment, care, finances and medical expenses. she's due to be discharged soon and start therapy

but after doing a lot of math and sorting through the remaining hospital bill, medication prices, the cost of rehabilitation and more i am looking at over $35,000 so far in medical/care related expenses over the next year. my mom is uninsured and i am underemployed.
