As salamualykum guys! I’m currently in Somalia alhamdulilah! And I wanted to share an opportunity to good with all of you!

This trip has truly been so humbling and life changing alhamdulilah. And I’ve met some of the most strongest and most inspirational people ever. One out of the many individuals I’ve met, her story stood out and stuck with me.

I’ve decided I’m going to do everything in my ability to help her out in sha Allah! She’s a young girl, just 28 years old with 5 children Allahumma bairk! Her brother’s wife passed away recently leaving behind 2 children. A boy and a girl.

She’s now taking care of them, along with her sick mother. Despite being in an extremely tough situation, everytime I see her she has a smile on her face. She picks up odd jobs, trying to put food on the table and to hopefully get treatment for her mother.

In sha Allah I’m going to do my best to help her out in anyway that I can. I would be helping them get basic necessities such as
- a place to stay
- perishables
- clothing for the kids
- treatment for the grandmother
- and hopefully enrolling the kids into school

Keep her and her family in your prayers. Wallahi we really don’t know how well we have it. With the Help of Allah, I hope that we can all truly make a difference in this family’s life.
