This is going to be a big list of hobbies as a lot of people don& #39;t practice them from working or not remembering they exist. These are great ways to de-stress and discover something you never knew about yourself.
Cooking/Baking:
I& #39;m going to keep this short. I know you need to cook for survival but I am going to learn how to make bread and make all the sourdough I want https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😤" title="Triumphierendes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Triumphierendes Gesicht"> Experimenting in the kitchen can lead to a new favorite food.
Calligraphy:
I am starting to build up my stationery as it& #39;s sweet to send thank you notes out after a dinner party or a gathering (whenever we& #39;ll have those again), and receiving gifts. Learning cursive might make you feel more elegant when you write things down https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="💅🏾" title="Nagellack (durchschnittlich dunkler Hautton)" aria-label="Emoji: Nagellack (durchschnittlich dunkler Hautton)">
Reading Fiction:
I specified fiction as we tend to lose our inner child as we get older. You can start with classics or I can make a thread of fiction recommendations if needed. After learning what you like, then you can read the specific genre of books you gravitate to.
Writing :
You can write fiction, to your past/future self, or no one in particular. Have a journal if you& #39;d like. It& #39;s good to get those thoughts onto paper. Not only do you feel better, but writing helps you better articulate your thoughts.
Learn a Language :
I love learning about languages & cultures. I& #39;m currently learning Mandarin and Spanish. Duolingo is great for the romance languages since there& #39;s stories, grammar tips, podcasts, and a cute owl.
Fine Arts:
There are so many ways to be artistic without drawing realistically or painting! You do not have to be an expert. Here is a bigger list. There is something for everybody on it https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="💕" title="Zwei Herzen" aria-label="Emoji: Zwei Herzen"> https://www.thecuriouslycreative.com/list-of-creative-hobbies/">https://www.thecuriouslycreative.com/list-of-c...
Wine Tasting:
I mostly just love white wine but for the others with no preference, you can join online wine tasting courses or get kits! They can be sent to your house with a fee to pay of course, but it can be worth it https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="☺️" title="Lächelndes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Lächelndes Gesicht">
Blogging:
We all have our own traits that make us individuals so why not share that with a blog? With a blog, you can eventually make income with it. It& #39;s a great option if you want to share with others your perspective/favorites of a certain topic.
Gardening:
I think we should all learn to garden. My apartment is limiting but I am learning urban gardening to accommodate that. I know people that have managed to grow fruits/veggies despite these limitations. It& #39;s also fun to draw plants.
