Thread of books that every artist should have, feel free to add any good one to the thread, first AKIRA:

Despite the fact that my favorite format of this project it’s the animated movie I just can’t avoid get attracted by the manga version.
Groundwork of FLCL: I’ve been highly influenced by these anime since I was a teenager, so for me having the key frames of the serie as a reference it’s really helpful.
Cannabis works: When I visited Paris I asked to my friend @Nesskain for some books for inspiration and he recommended me this one, really amazing đź‘Ś
Hellboy: I can’t get enough of the work of Mike Mignola, the simplification of the anatomy, the shapes, the values and the color palette are inspiration for me, simple but precise, or at least that’s my interpretation.
Overwatch: I’m not a gamer in fact I played Counter Strike for a season and that’s the closest I’ve been to enjoy a shorter game but I must say went this game came out I was so shocked about the visuals that I studied everything related for a while
Spiderman into the Spiderverse: After I saw the movie I fall in love immediately, there are too many artists involved in this project that are incredible and till this day inspires me
Graphic L.A.: This is a book made by Rob Ruppel one of the artists that worked for the Spiderverse movie, I found this book where he explains how to do interpretations of reality using shape simplification, really interesting, I found it useful.
Animation works V.2: The End Of Evangelion have an special spot on my top of favorite anime movies of all time, definitely inspired by the aesthetics and the psychological background
Spirited Away: Hayao Miyazaki represent one of my biggest inspirations, I can’t describe how much I would love to project my ideas like he does in his movies and I realize that one of the best ways to understand how the things works it’s taking a look behind the sketches.
Kim Jung Gi 2017 sketchbook: Kim is one artist that inspired me too much, I used to check his work when I’m blocked and the way he plays with information using perspective and line art blows my mind, it’s like taking a fresh look into madness
