Begin Short film analysis and explanation

Disclaimer: non of this really happened, even if I use the boys name, BU story is a ficticional story.

In this thread I'll explain Begin Short Film from Demian's book point of view, linking it to the Campbell's Hero's journey and finally explaining how it fits with BU (Bangtan Universe).

Abbreviations and characters:

JK = Jungkook
YG = Yoongi

QUOTE.

Just like Sinclair, JK was aware about the existence of 2 different worlds at young age: good and bad. Feeling sometimes attracted to the realm of night.

CHAPTER 1.

JK was aware of bad existing as well as good since he was a kid. For example this note, he knew the hole was something dangerous and bad, yet he kept approaching it, ending being attracted to the shining thing inside of it.

Sinclair he said it clearly in the book, how his house was so immaculate and perfect but how he knew that there was bad outside and that he was curious and was wondering how was it. However as a kid he didn't want to leave the good side but his curiosity was stronger.

In Campbell's Hero's journey, we'll be in the 1st phase: Call to adventure. You will see why

BEGIN in BU.

The short film starts with a whistle and JK in a bed having a nightmare in which he sees a piano in fire and he also hears a car having an accident and a mirror shattering.

The piano in fire represents YG setting on fire the hotel room and JK saving him.

After that we see, what I believe is, a scene that represents JK's time at the hospital after having his car accident. Thinking about the sound of the mirror shatterirng, it reminds me to every time Jin traveled back in time and the mirror shattered +

every time. With the BU story official trailer we know that the white cat was present at least after JK's car accident would the mirror shatter because of JK's new power this time?!

After having the nightmare, the camera focus on JK's eye.

Anyway, after waking up we see JK a bit confuse, like contempling and recalling what he's doing there and what happened. It's really feels like he's thinking about the car accident.
After that we see him holding a drawing of someone but with blood on it. YG?!

When he picks the drawing, the bed "leaves" the room and the whole room changes to a room with paintings everywhere and a couch. This could represent JK getting discharged from the hospital and him drawing his memories when he has time on his notebook.

Those drawing seems to indicate that it's YG who JK's drawing because while painting we see the image of the burning piano on JK's eye. After that the painting caught in fire, representing YG's story.

Something intriguing about the painting is that it has colors, colors that have their own flow, like the water. JK's drawings are always on pencil in BU also something interesting is the rain outside, why the rain?! And why it stops when the cuervos came?!

At the end, the drawing he was holding at 1st changed and became the drawing of a bird.
I have the feeling that this change represents how JK started to focus more on him and doubting his Hyungs. The bird represents him and we also see his shadow with Wings.

Linking it to Demian's book, this image represents perfectly the 1st quote:
Realm of day (persona innocent boy) and night (shadow with wings), mingled during this time. JK hero's journey started.
