Canadians should pressure their government officials into negotiating land claims with First Nations. What do you expect from not giving people redress to illegal takings and committing violence against them--arrests, rubber bullets, police brutality, and threats of arson

The OPP has escalated the situation. It was a wholly peaceful protest protesting development of illegally taken land. What you are seeing is the reaction to the violence and intimidation. Even if Trudeau succeedes in using the OPP as a tool of violent suppression,

You are not addressing the underlying issue of the land claim. The people at Six Nations haven't forgotten the land has been illegally taken thus far and will not in the future. All this is is demonstrating the racist policies against Haudenosaunee and First Nations

Plus with the railroad and rolling blockades put on earlier this year by the Tyendinaga Mohawk and others supporting Wet'suwet'en, do you not think other Haudenosaunee communities will not support the Six Nations people in some disruptive way?

Bottom line, Trudeau and your other government officials are bringing this all on with their racist policies and actions. What they need to do is address the underlying land claim or this will be an issue for many years to come
