We now know that #BombshellWotR is coming to an end. Sadness, I know...but let's acknowledge this as an instance in which these badass women are going out on THEIR terms. They need to be acknowledged for exactly what they've done, and I'm taking this moment to do so. Join me...

They proved that women could do it for and BY themselves. NatSec/defense is the most white boys club possible, and these three took no shit as they cemented themselves as leaders within this community. And...they brought other women WITH them and amplified their voices.

Annually, they allowed a few blessed & highly favored menfolk to speak with them for the Manniversary. Otherwise, it was women discussing the most pressing and complex contemporary issues. Mind you, these discussions were coupled with the most high-brow and low-brow drink choices

And they did this over the course of one of the most norm-shattering periods in U.S. history. They helped us understand as well as validated our confusion/concern. Above all, they always kept it interesting and fun. I mean, they asked the Bombshell questions we never knew we had.

As a woman who was fortunate enough to join them for an episode, I offer my deep appreciation to @LorenRaeDeJ, @RadhaKIyengar, @charlie_simpson for these exceptional years. Thank you for stepping up AND stepping back on YOUR terms. Well done, y'all.
