While watching prolly my first two BL series, I thought of my closeted friends back in HS. Albeit indirectly, one of them came out to me during college. That friend suddenly started to openly gush about this mutual friend na crush namin pareho dalawa.
And I remember feeling happy and honored, I guess? To me, it seems like my friend found assurance na I wouldn't judge or anything. And I didn't; I just went with the flow of our convo.
I absolutely have no idea if I handled the role of being an ally at that time—I was still uneducated asf at that time and I know I still have a lot to learn up to this day. But still, I hope na I handled it just fine.
