Cesar Azpilicueta

A thread
The Spaniard has played for 3 clubs in his career, those being Osasuna, Marseille and Chelsea, becoming an integral figure of each club, so what makes him so good?
Reliability
Azpi rarely gets injured, in his entire career he's only been injured twice. His 1st was an ACL injury which left him out for 6 months in the 10/11 season for Marseille and the 2nd was a calf strain where he only missed 21 days in 2020.
Defensive Ability
Based off data since 09/10, he's averaged 3 tackles per 90 and 1.9 interceptions per 90
Based off data from 16/17, Dave has had a tackle success rate of 81.1%.
He's a solid and consistent defender hence why he always gets picked.
Versatility
During his time at Chelsea, Azpi transitioned from a RB to a LB when Ashley Cole left to a CB in back 3 under Conte and as a RWB for Lampard. He's plays each position with ease.
Why I Think He's Underrated
In his 8 years at Chelsea, he has never been in the PFA TOTY, with players like Bellerin, Marcos Alonso and Ryan Bertrand getting picked over him. He has 25 caps but hasn't been capped since 2018 while Jesus Navas and Sergio Roberto have been capped.
His time at Chelsea is slowly coming to an end due to the emerge of Reece James but @CesarAzpi service to Chelsea shouldn't be forgotten.
