Let’s stop using the word “youth” for our serious activities abeg

1. It infantalizes the majority of citizens - most of us are adults paying taxes (there are no tax breaks for youths smh)

2. creates division - all Nigerians are in this struggle regardless of age
3. The division conveniently marginalizes young people for political office so there are useless/powerless offices and appointments just to pacify eg why the hell is there a youth minister when a young person could just be an actual minister? 🤦🏾‍♂️
4. No one takes “youths” seriously. It’s the reason why politicians keep saying “talk to your children and wards” wth

5. Most of the military coups in Nigeria were led by generals in their 30s. Were they called the youth army?
6. Let’s sha stop using the word to describe any serious thing we do. We’re taking this country back as citizens. Fin
