A little bit of positive news to come out of the pandemic.

I’ve taken over the iconic Daly’s bar in magical West Clare.

We’ve moved in upstairs and have loads of great plans for the place when things start moving again!

I would highly recommend as a place to work remotely!

It really is a dream to be involved in a little gem of a bar down the country. Never would thought this could happen

We found an old trapdoor where the Guinness kegs used to go So they could be closer to the tap. That’s obviously where they’ll go now

Daly’s in Ennistymon, which is down the road from places like Lahinch & Liscannor and close to Doolin and Spanish Point. It’s incredible having these places on your doorstep!

One of my favourite parts of the pub is the huge stove fire. This will keep us going through the winter. And the Sacred Heart above it will keep people from cheating in chess games.

I don’t wear glasses, but when I’m pulling pints in Daly’s I wear these “West Clare barman glasses at the edge of your nose” for full effect. The pints are magic here, as the next tweet will show....

For now it’s a working from home space, but we hope to use it mainly as a cultural space, for artists and musicians. The aim is to record music here and maybe host some virtual gigs. There is a wealth of talent in West Clare, so we would love to tap into that...

Nearly forgot about the dartboard. No great pub could do without one.
