Last year, @grindr through Grindr for Equality helped recruit a 1/3 of participants to the annual UK PrEP user survey with free ads.

This summer, global queer health activists gave hours + hours of free time to support @grindr's online Pride activities.

This year? Silence. 2/4
With a couple of noticeable exceptions (thanks @hornet) the response from hook-up apps to supporting the survey this year is telling: either silence or "here's our rate card".

Small orgs don't have advertising budgets. This survey is run on good will + borrowed staff. 3/4
