#BLACKOUTMIXMAG is not a me me me feature. Notice that there’s not one feature on myself and yes I’m a musician NOT a journalist by trade.

Take time out and read all the features and the video content and understand what’s the messaging here.
You need to think about now the people who said NOTHING since Blackout Tuesday. Rather than critiquing those who made attempts. That’s the more worrying part about all of this.

Most industry heads got my number and my DMs have been open all year 🤷🏾‍♂️
Amplifying people outside of your own self invested interests should be the answer. The same silence throughout the industry happens when we discuss women’s safety. There’s a lot of things omitted. That’s because it’s a global pandemic and I’m also a Dad, trying to raise kids.
Let’s manage our expectations though please. If I can give 5 months of my life to this. From a tweet. Let’s cooperate and show faith in one another.
People have said to me before in the past. “Don’t put your ideas on the timeline...people will steal it.”

They won’t execute it 🤷🏾‍♂️

Their own greed and ego won’t let them make OTHER people the spotlight and centre of attention.
I love when people on Twitter get on their soapbox and subsequently pull someone up to the platform and even in some cases step down of the soapbox themselves. 👏🏾❤️

If this sounds like “nah that’s not for me” then fair enough.
