i didn’t know pickle juice was vinegar. i thought they like juiced pickles and put the other pickles in the juice

like obvi i knew pickles were like cucumbers but i thought pickle juice was like it’s own thing. like orange juice

also why are they just called pickles today i found out other things can be pickled like radishes. why don’t we call them pickled cucumbers and only pickles????

i get that pickles are soaked in vinegar but if you took a pickle and put it into a juicer would that not be pickle juice?? and like would the liquid in the pickle container just be vinegar like do we have to blend pickles to make actual pickle juice and will it taste different?

k so in conclusion pickles are like pickled cucumbers but they’re soaked in brine which is vinegar and like other spices and shit! so pickle juice is like a lot of stuff basically :)
