ਲਖੇ ਨੈਨ ਬਾਕੇ ਮਨੈ ਮੀਨ ਮੋਹੈ ਲਖੇ ਜਾਤ ਕੇ ਸੂਰ ਕੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਛਾਈ ॥
Even fish seeing your beautiful eyes are allured, your eyes [are so illuminating] they appear like the sun bursting with light.

Note: Fish are used as metaphors for beautiful eyes in Braj/Sanskrit poetics. 2/8
ਮਨੋ ਫੂਲ ਫੂਲੇ ਲਗੇ ਨੈਨ ਝੂਲੇ ਲਖੇ ਲੋਗ ਭੂਲੇ ਬਨੇ ਜੋਰ ਐਸੇ ॥
Your beautiful eyes appear as if blossoming flowers, so beautiful that upon seeing them people forget their path within the forest.

ਲਖੇ ਨੈਨ ਥਾਰੇ ਬਿਧੇ ਰਾਮ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਰੰਗੇ ਰੰਗ ਸਾਰਾਬ ਸੁਹਾਬ ਜੈਸੇ ॥੨੯੮॥
Looking upon your eyes Sita, your lover Rama has been pierced by them, he has gone red, as if his face has blushed from drinking alcohol.

ਰੰਗੇ ਰੰਗ ਰਾਤੇ ਮਯੰ ਮੱਤ ਮਾਤੇ ਮਕਬੂਲਿ ਗੁੱਲਾਬ ਕੇ ਫੂਲ ਸੋਹੈਂ ॥
Your eyes Sita are so drenched in love, it appears red from being intoxicated from alcohol; so gorgeous, splendid like rose flowers.

ਨਰਗਸ ਨੇ ਦੇਖ ਕੈ ਨਾਕ ਐਂਠਾ ਮ੍ਰਿਗੀਰਾਜ ਕੇ ਦੇਖਤੈਂ ਮਾਨ ਮੋਹੈਂ ॥
The narcissus flower, being jealous of your beauty has raised its nose at you, even the most gorgeous deer see you and are allured by your beauty.

ਸਬੋ ਰੋਜ ਸਰਾਬ ਨੇ ਸੋਰ ਲਾਇਆ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਆਮ ਜਾਹਾਨ ਕੇ ਪੇਖ ਵਾਰੇ ॥
Seeing your eyes is like being intoxicated with alcohol day and night, everyone in the entire world who sees these eyes is a sacrifice to them.

ਭਵਾ ਤਾਨ ਕਮਾਨ ਕੀ ਭਾਤ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਨਿ ਕਮਾਨ ਹੀ ਨੈਨ ਕੇ ਬਾਨ ਮਾਰੇ ॥੨੯੯॥
Sita's eyebrows are like lovely bows, and her eyes are so striking they shoot out arrows, even they are not a bow.
