One factor of tradtional astrology is the Via combusta, or the Burnt way. This is the term usually given to the span between 15 Libra and 15 Scorpio.

The time when the moon is located in this area is traditionally considered to be inauspicious.
Quoth Culpeper's Opus Astrologiocum
[p. 46 of this pdf https://astrolibrary.org/ebooks/opus-astrologicum-by-nicholas-culpeper-classic.pdf]
[...] Beware the end of Libra and the beginning of Scorpio; for that is the Combust way, & portends no good in such matters [i.e. Marriage], nor in few other matters
There are, however, a few more definitions of the Via Combusta:
- "The last half of Libra and the whole of Scorpio" - Wilson's dictionary of astrology https://books.google.com/books?id=guZhAAAAcAAJ&pg=PA404#v=onepage&q&f=false
- All of Libra & all of Scorpio [Several sources, vide http://www.skyscript.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1160&start=15&sid=753743321fa163e50d067effc41305f7]
"The eighth degree of Libra all the way to the third degree of Scorpio" (i.e. 7 Lib00- 2 Sco 00)"

- Picatrix, book 1 chapt 4, p 52 of the Atterell & Porrecca translation
Sahl Bin Bishir's introduction to astrology lists the "Burnt path" or "ignited path" as the "End of Libra and Beginning of Scorpio" which agrees with the 15 lib-15 Sco definition. (Vide Dykes' "Works of Sahl & Masha'allah")
Sahl lists it in the context of lunar debilities, going so far as to say in his book of electional astrology, that it is amongst the worst possible states the moon can be in, adding it is v, bad in matters of women, marriage, buying, selling and travel. (Dykes' tr p. 194)
Lilly' edition of Bonatti's astrological aphorisms also mentions the Combust way, as one of of 17 ways the Moon may be debilitated. This affliction seems to afflict only the moon, because the next section on planetary debilities does not mention it.
https://archive.org/details/astrologersguide00lill/page/n33/mode/2up
But later on, Bonatti states one of the things to look out for when judging a horary, are whether the significators- or relevant planets in general- are in the Combust way. This may imply that other planets may be so affected, but I'm not sure
https://archive.org/details/astrologersguide00lill/page/70/mode/2up?q=Combust
Bethem's Centiloquy also seems to agree that the Via Combusta also affects planets in general.

https://www.skyscript.co.uk/centiloquium3.html
"94 The lord of the ascendant in the via combusta, the question [i.e. Horary] is corrupted. The combust way is from 15d. of Libra to 15d. of Scorpio."
Another use of the V.C. in elections,fr Hermes' centiloquy:
http://www.skyscript.co.uk/centiloquium2.html
"54. When the Moon shall be in the combust way, or peregrine, in the beginning of a journey, the person will either fall sick in his journey, or shall be otherwise grievously troubled& molested.
The 17th century astrologer Partridge also used the Via combusta, stating it was very bad for marriage, signifying "An ill end" [aph 39 here https://edwardwhite123.blogspot.com/2019/12/partridges-aphorisms-for-elections.html]
His fellow astrologer John Gadbury used the Via Combusta in nativities, if only as a sign that the person with the moon in this area will have eye trouble [Aph 79, https://edwardwhite123.blogspot.com/2020/02/gadburys-natal-aphorisms.html , also https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=U25jAAAAcAAJ&dq=collection%20of%20nativities&pg=PA217#v=onepage&q&f=false
At this point, it should be noted most sources seem to agree on several things
- A section of the tropical signs of Libra and Scorpio is inauspicious
- When the moon enters into this section, she is weakened
- Anything commenced when the moon is in this section will end badly
