I still, to this day, wonder why people are obsessed with AI bots spitting out phrases that are similar to basic meme responses from humans. Is the ego of beings such as that really so fragile?
They're memes. They're meant to be easily repeatable. Original though does exist in some capacity, buuuuuut most everything is a rehash of a rehash, etc. I had approached the thought that "there is no such thing as an original idea" when I was quite young.
As damning as it is, it is true to some extent. It's the, ah, I forget it's name but part of the idea that there is a leash between memetics and genealogy. One can only advance as far as the other allows.
Ironically, this thread in itself is a rehash of an established idea. But sometimes reiterating is useful as a meme in and of itself. For... imprinting and reinforcement purposes...
