So my granny Alllah yerhmaha would make different types of traditional Malay kueh basically like sweets or snacks and sell them in the masjid every Friday for charity, we used to sleep so late the day before and wake up super early so that we can get everything done on time https://twitter.com/lucentommo/status/1319257269125697538">https://twitter.com/lucentomm...
before jumuah prayers, we packed everything in a trolley bag and walk to the mosque. There were also some of my granny& #39;s friends that would make and sell to donate to the masjid. I mean how blessed are they to have friends coming together every week cooking for the sake of Allah.
She did this every single week and she only stop when she no longer have the ability to, I remember as she got weaker she would use her stick and at the end I would push her in her chair to go and travel with car instead of walking.
I used to find it fascinating that Im praying 2 rak& #39;ah (jumuah prayer) instead of dzuhr. Lol Yeah we still have the women area closed for women
