(1) Hey deakin twitter friends! A bit of an unusual tweet but Iâm just wondering if anyone else has had a guy wanting to DM them to ask questions about deakin? I noticed heâs contacted quite a few of my digital media mutuals. (tweet continued in thread below)
(2) Not too sure what anyone elseâs experience with him has been like but I was left feeling a bit uncomfortable with his quick switch to overly friendly and personal conversation (which wasnât really about deakin) and stopped replying, later blocking him as he kept messaging me.
(3) He proceeded to track me down on another social media platform to still try and talk to me as well as messaging me with another twitter account which felt a bit like he was overstepping boundaries.
(4) He may be harmless, just quite persistent, but in case other people are having similar experiences I thought it might be worth other people being on the lookout? He seems to have asked to DM quite a few of my deakin digital media mutuals. Sorry for the long tweet everyone!
