I was "that guy" about infomercials until it was pointed out to me that most if these products are designed to accommodate disabilities but the commercials market them to clumsy ableds to expand their sales enough to stay in business.
The no spill dishes? Good for someone with Parkinson's. Snuggie? Good for someone in a wheelchair who would have a hard time getting a coat on. The sock assistant? Good for someone who cant bend over. Jar opener? One handed egg cracker? Good for people with limited strength and
Or limited use of a limb. Take any of these "lazy" or "weird" products and separate them from the ad and ask "who could this help?" And you'll usually arrive at the intended purpose.
