After i passed the CPA boards 7 years ago, i was hired as an auditor at a rate of P18K net per month. That was high b/c most audit firms offer a net of P14-16K

& it takes 3-4 years until you get promoted

Not that i’m complaining (or shld i?) but that means return on the investment of ur education will take a long while
Some folks don’t even live long enough to benefit from that investment
Basically it’s just high tuition with low return after graduation

Not to mention acquiring a professional license can be HELL. Devoting 4-5 years of ur life just studying & not getting enough rest, not getting enough life
& after grad, you’ll do the same stuff, only that u aren’t paid back as much as u paid for it

System is so problematic. Nobody cared enough to address the questions: Shld we decrease tuition rates? Or shld we increase salaries?
And yes, we have been conditioned to think that this system is okay, that it’s normal, & that we shouldn’t be asking to be treated better
