My Top 25 fav. artists of all time (a thread)
Something I wanted to do since I seen a vid of someone rank their top 50 fav. artists oat, I thought of doing one. But when it comes to artists I actually LOVE love, I could only come up with 25. So here is a thread explaining my top 10 bc if I did all 25 it& #39;d be too long..
So, here& #39;s the full tier list and you can see where each is ranked (all are ranked in order)
Number 10: Paramore
This is weird. Even tho I& #39;ve only listened to one album from them, being the debut "Riot!" I& #39;ve loved it to fucking death. Hayley& #39;s voice is something I can& #39;t get over and tracks like That& #39;s What You Get and When It Rains get stuck in my head bc of her voice-

and bc of that, I& #39;ve just placed them here bc of the amount of replay value I get out of just one album from them.
Number 9: Jay-Z
Hov is a rapper that I& #39;ve only gotten into recently, and with each album, something about the way he does his stuff.. Fuck it& #39;s amazing. Imo a top 3 rapper oat, and the best "coke rapper" if you can even call him that. Just amazing all around

One of the first bands that got me into metal. Obv. the punk phase is showing bc of this pick but idc. One X is in my top 10 fav. albums oat and honestly, one of the best bands of the 2000s punk rock scene

Number 7: Frank Ocean
To me, Blonde isn& #39;t an album... It& #39;s an experience. One that you will either absolutely love or one you look at and think "it& #39;s cool" And Blonde alone puts him in the top 10. NU is one of the best mixtapes of the 2010s and CO is really good also...

His music is like an escape from reality I can only get from some artists. Just.. fuck. If you haven& #39;t heard Blonde in full already, please do so, you& #39;re missing out on a top 3 album of the 2010s.
Number 6: Breaking Benjamin
My personal fav. alt metal band and Phobia is in my top 5 fav. albums oat. Their stuff got me through some tough fucking shit but even past that, they& #39;re my equivalent to what ppl get out of Frank Ocean. Pain music. It& #39;s stuff that makes me feel ok-

whenever I& #39;m in a dark place of depression. It sucks being in those pits but with Phobia and the rest of Breaking Benjamin& #39;s discography, it& #39;s almost like having an audible comfort blanket. Fuck... they are amazing to me

Now, why do I have Travis over my personal "best rapper of all time?" It& #39;s bc I personally have a deeper love for Travis than Kendrick. Travis was the one to get me into trap when I was stuck in a phase of only being into Eminem type rappers. And his work-

is truly legendary, and he has 2 albums in my top 10 favs oat. Rodeo and Astroworld. He& #39;s the closest we& #39;ll get to a second Kanye and is one of the best trap artists oat.

Diverse asl taste. But, it comes with a curse. Songs like Us and Them or ABITW Pt. 2 bring back nostalgia, but sometimes not the stuff I don& #39;t want to remember.. But that& #39;s just me. Overall, I can& #39;t recommend Pink Floyd& #39;s discog enough and truly one of my fav. artists of all time
