Thread RE: Boog Boi activity in #Minneapolis during the #GeorgeFloyd uprising. Unslocited tagging of people because you have either engaged this issue or I thought you would be interested in my takes. @IwriteOK @notmynypd @rerahrich @EmilyGorcenski @MnUrising
I have read the complaint (I will post it below) and there are a few discrepencies in the timeline that betray either sloppy work by the FBI agent who wrote it or to the fact much of the episode is erroneous. Let's start with the factual timeline: May 25-George Floyd is murdered.
Tuesday May 26- a large group of people gather at what is now GFS (38th and Chicago) to protest. People march to the 3rd Precinct. The upsirsing begins. LOCAL people spontaneously start the uprising and maintain it. Wednesday May 27-the crowd at 3rd precinct stays and grows.
3. May 27 The uprising escalates througout the day with property damage and commodity expropriation. Police shoot tear gas and munitions at the large crowd throughout the day and into the evening. Fires start. Fast forward to Thursday May 28-The 3rd Precinct Falls! Around 10pm
4. The "Criminal Complaint" was written by "Special Agent" Jason Bujold of the FBI, who has only been an agent since 2017. In it he states that on May 27 "individuals broke into the Target Store and Cub Foods... vandalized and looted the businesses and then set fires inside."
5. Thus, according to Special Agent Bujold, the uprising started on or around the 27th of May. He also mentions, in point 6 of the complaint, that "on Thursday night, May 28, the Minneapolis Third Precinct police building... was overrun and heavily damaged by fire."
6. In point 7 of the criminal complaint Agent Bujold states that boog boi Hunter said, on May 27, he was "72 hours out" after a call for a "headcount" by a Minnesota-based boog boi. If he was coming from Texas that makes sense. 72hr trip. I read somewhere he was in Chicago.
7. On May 27 at 7:12PM one Boog Boi said, "We're still in route" while at 7:39PM Hunter stated, "I am leaving tonight." This indicates that Hunter was not coming from Texas. Unless he was flying, which I doubt, he must have already been within a day's drive. Why does this matter?
8. Because, according to the complaint, and this where things get muddled, Hunter "sent his precise location information- two blocks from MPD's Third Precinct Building" in a private message to another boog boi at 10:30PM on May 28. SO, he two blocks away at 10:30 pm.
9. According to the complaint, the 3rd Precinct was taken at "10:04 pm on May 28." This boog boi was still two blocks away, if he was even there at all. This can help counter the prevailing narrative that "outside agitators" were instrumental in taking the 3rd Precinct.
10. After this information, Special Agent Bujold proceeds, in points 9,10 and 11 of the complaint to outline how Hunter shot into the building, with a few screen-caps as evidence. No dates are attached to points 9, 10 and 11. Which is interesting.
11. In point 12 a "cooperating defendant" who is "cooperating with law enforcement with the hopes of a reduced sentence" is credited with identifying Hunter "as the individual who fired an AK-47 style rifle at the precinct building during the evening hours of May 27."
12. Note the date: May 27.
13. As we have established, the 3rd was taken on May 28 at or around 10pm. Hunter said he was not in Minneapolis on May 27. Perhaps this is a mistake by the young, 3 year veteran of the FBI, Special Agent Bujold. I understand mistakes. This thread is riddled with typos!
