disdain! coming off jc in waves! but then because jiang cheng does love his brother and is only knows the yell-y way to show it, he loses his marbles at the family shrine. and THEN wwx's response is deferential and won't take the bait and jc hears "i don't care about you anymore"

and here you can see jiang cheng's mind working very fast as he realizes wwx was barely holding on to consciousness this entire time and maybe jc misinterpreted every single thing about this conversation uh oh

even post-flashback, in the era where jc will try multiple times to kill wwx with his own hands, he's horrified every time wwx collapses in front of him. jc's shixiong is still supposed to be indestructible. he's WEI WUXIAN, he's BETTER AT EVERYTHING, not like this, not breakable
