(Thread) The election is right around the corner, and though anxiety for the future pervades, so too should hope.
This year, all across our country, more Americans than ever have started to believe that on the other side of public service lies something better. #YangGang
In the moment, it never seems like enough. For some, darkness is all we’ve known and all we see ahead of us.

But even in defeat, each percentage point towards an ideal represents Americans who have decided that on the other side of a ballot lies a better future.
For sitting public servants, each percentage point represents an emphatic answer to the long-ignored question “Who do we serve?”.

Every point is dollars drained. Stress. Changes in strategy. Messaging and eventually policy that bends toward the will of the people.
Each point is something that was impossible, until it wasn’t.
Most importantly of all, a point in the right direction represents a person who has a reason to believe in the power of their voice again.
And that is the best thing you can ask for, because a person who believes in goodness and the power of their voice is not just one person. They can become a pillar of their community, and hope has the funny characteristic of radiating from its source.
If you’re reading this, you are probably aware of great candidates running for a change. Until the bell sounds, they still need help. And every point you win for them is a gain that numbers can’t always properly represent.
Many of you reading this have already given it all. Thanks for everything! Take care of yourself. We’ll see you on the other side.
And nmatter what happens on November 3rd
