Living within a white supremacist culture as a history & race-conscious person really is like living in a zombie movie. People walk around with a veil over their eyes, oblivious to what they don’t know, living (& dying) in service to a myth.

People have been so fully indoctrinated into white supremacist culture via the experience of European colonization that they really don’t recognize how it impacts everything.

Including this stupid debate over wearing masks during a pandemic.

I didn’t always have the awareness I have now. The more you study history, particularly the history behind the development of racism & European colonialism, the more it will shift how you view everything in the world around you.
