I’m volunteering to be a poll worker here in NC. It was 3 hr training & my trainer was a veteran chief judge. Let me tell you he was no joke. He went into excruciating detail about the process & the problems we might encounter. I have a new found respect for the voting process.

This idea that you can easily cheat the voting process is bullshit. There are so many fail safes. But most importantly the volunteers are incredible. We are of all backgrounds & races. What we have in common is we take voting seriously. It is not a joke.

Our trainer told us several times “I don’t care who you are. I don’t play around with voting.” Some poll workers have been doing it for 25 years. They work the same precinct & do the same role every single time. 6 of us today were newbies. Our trainer John told us

You are part of a tradition. Man he had us fired up. We were taking notes. Asking questions. The amount of detail we got on voting was incredible.

Point is, don’t fall for the media hype about voter fraud. It’s virtually impossible. I always thought that but as a poll worker I now understand WHY. Vote w/confidence. Don’t let your voice be silenced #vote #Vote2020
