it took me a little bit of time to want to attend zoom readings and plays and things, but that was just inertia and resistance to change; having been a part of some zoom events now i know how much it means to the people throwing them to have others show up, even if virtually
i know you have zoom fatigue, and that's real, and you do what you need to do. but try going to a virtual reading or live cast reunion or digital play or exhibition every now and then; those putting these things on wish they were with you, too. but they are doing what they can.
it's not the best version of anything! comedians want to be in the clubs. authors want to be having book parties in a sweaty room with cocktails. actors want to be on stage. but it is what is possible, and safe, and your eyeballs/support do make a difference.
