It's been 4 weeks since @GovRonDeSantis moved Florida to Phase 3, abolishing occupancy restrictions at restaurants and bars and making individual penalties unenforceable. Many people predicted doom, so let's see how things are going.

1. Hospitalizations - hmm, no problem there
2. Cases - some increase, but cases are tracking with an increase in testing.
3. The positivity rate is nearly flat - some data dumps are affecting the 7-day average, but there's only the slightest increase.
4. CLI - the percentage of emergency department visits for COVID-like illness (purple dots) - has been bouncing between 2% and 3% since the end of August. No increase there.
Ignore the headlines with high numbers of "cases" - there's nothing to see here. Many people replied last week and said cases were increasing, so hospitalizations and deaths would follow, but there's been no change in CLI or hospitalizations yet.
