Ok, I've exhausted my other avenues of contacting them. So it looks like blowing up their twitter feed is going to have to be the way this goes.
Hey @WorkingAmerica we need to talk. I've asked your people to stop messaging me half a dozen times now. They just wont quit.
So if this doesn't work I'll be contacting my lawyer next. Continuing to contact someone when they have requested multiple times to be taken off of a contact list (that I didn't sign up for) is harassment pure and simple.
I don't give a damn about your company or what it does. I have no idea what you're goals and ideas are, and I don't want to know. I just want @WorkingAmerica to STOP TEXTING ME.
I have reported the numbers for spam, and blocked them. (Although they are likely using spoofed phone numbers so that doesn't do me much good)
By the way @WorkingAmerica you can be damned sure I will continue to blow your feed up just like you blow my phone up with your stupid text messages. I've been trying to end this for WEEKS and since no one answers your phone I can't talk to anyone directly unless I do this.
I realize my friends on here will likely give me a little side eye, and that's ok. I know full well I sound like some crazy karen bitching at a company, and right now I'm ok with that. @WorkingAmerica 's text messages have woken me up too many times for me care about civility.
I'd also like to add that I have very nicely asked multiple of @WorkingAmerica 's "people" to stop texting me. (Lets be honest, they're bots sending out scripted messages) I've tried the "text stop to opt out" business too. It worked for like three days.
I've been messaged from multiple phone #'s which look local at first but anyone in infosec can tell you how easy it is to spoof a number. I guarantee if I called one of @WorkingAmerica 's "people" that has text me it would be some grandma who has no clue what I'm talking about.
Well it's been 15 min. Time to call out @WorkingAmerica again. Maybe if I annoy the hell out of them, like they have me, I can get them to take me off their list before I have to involve a lawyer.
I really don't want to have to do a formal Cease and Desist, but I will if pushed.
I think about every 15 to 30 minutes I'll keep updating this thread until @WorkingAmerica takes care of this issue. Kiddo's bedtime will make me take a break (because baby comes first, always) but I will keep this up until I go to sleep or I get a resolution to the harassment.
