RB Salzburg have been outstanding with their recruitment and sell-on strategy.
Szoboszlai is next in line to be picked up by a big European club like Håland, Upamecano, Keïta, Kampl, Mané and Caleta-Car (all pictured) were.
+ Chan, Minamino, Soriano, Haidara and Laimer

Just a couple days ago he performed on the biggest scene

His freekicks are also a very valuable quality!
He’s usually on the set-pieces for RB Salzburg which says a lot about his technical abilities.

The heatmap (1) is from last season and the average positions (2) are from the UCL qualification game away at Maccabi Tel Aviv in September.
The second image shows him playing more centrally (number 14) than ever before which has become the norm early this season.

He has therefore been involved more than before and his 12 goals and 18 assists in his last 21 games prove that.
(8 games, 4 goals and 6 assists this season
)
He has definitely been the player who stepped up the most after Håland, Minamino and Chan left last season.

Weakness: If I have to point out an area of his game that needs work it’s his ball-winning.
He works defensively but he’s simply not good enough (yet) at winning the ball back.
1.3 tackles + interceptions (in the league last season) is not enough for a midfielder/wide midfielder

He’s flourishing in the central areas where the play will go through him as often as possible.
If his teammates and manager know how to set him up he’ll dominate games.

Which team fits best for him?
A player of his quality could fit anywhere. I think AC Milan could give him playing time at a big club, in big leagues.
The club I’d prefer for him though is none other than Real Madrid themselves

There’s not much young creativity from their midfield.
Also Isco, who he’d replace is 30 and it’s time for a revolution at the (possibly) biggest club in the world.
His £21 million release clause (!) is simply too cheap to pass on.
