Utah should be talking about the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett and the implication it will have for couples here who undergo IVF to grow their families.

There are a *lot* of questions circling around ACB and what it would mean for fertility treatments.
But "Barrett has been unequivocally anti-choice. In 2006, she was one of hundreds to sign an anti-abortion advertisement published in the South Bend Tribune. She also signed a letter opposing access to contraception as covered by the Affordable Care Act in 2012."
From the same polling in Utah mentioned earlier, Utahns indicated that they believe it is important to provide state funding for reproductive health services including family planning and birth control for lower income individuals.
Some 2017 data from the CDC indicates that numbers have increased quite a bit since then:

But recently, some fertility doctors from a leading fertility journal said the following:
Yet our two Senators, Romney and Lee, are pushing her nomination forward.

The seating of Barrett on the Supreme Court would not only be disastrous for Utah women, but it would also be harmful to our families.
I would love to see more press ask these questions of our Senators, but also of the Utah public.

If Utahns knew this information, would their opinions on the rushed nomination of Barrett change?
I know this seems like such a particular, unclear, and finicky question, but the implications could be *huge* for Utah couples who want to grow their families but struggle to do so without medical assistance.
