[From a DNF book. Title at the end of the thread.]

Hero, talking about his ex fiancé: "Why marry a woman who couldn& #39;t get wet? [...] He& #39;d had to invest in lubricant for the first time in his life."

YIKES. Let& #39;s talk about how this is a big ol& #39; NOPE in so many ways.
First of all, this is very transphobic (transmisogyny) as it implies that one shouldn& #39;t marry/fuck a trans woman because they "can& #39;t get wet".

I shouldn& #39;t have to explain why this is a problem????
Second, even if this was, SOMEHOW worded in a way that was NOT transphobic, it& #39;s still a shitty thing to say about cis women and people who were born with a vagina.
Lots of things can alter vaginal wetness, including hormones, medical problems, and side effects from medication.

AND THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS! IT IS NOT THE VAGINA OWNER& #39;S FAULT!
Also: there can be a difference between a person being or feeling aroused and their body actually showing this physical sign of arousal.

Emily talks more about arousal nonconcordance in COME AS YOU ARE, which is a great book https://amzn.to/2TifnFZ ">https://amzn.to/2TifnFZ&q...
And finally: can we please stop acting like lube is this dirty secret, regardless of a person& #39;s genitals or who they are partnered with? Because lube is EXCELLENT, yes even for a "healthy" cis woman fucking a cis man!

LUBE FOR ALL, THANKS FOR COMING TO MY TED TALK.
