to say that there is systemic sexism against men is just not true. firstly, you need to understand the definition of sexism, systemic, and oppression. oppression means to undergo harsh and cruel treatment for a long period of time. people of color are oppressed, lgbt people are-
oppressed, impoverished people are oppressed, women are oppressed, and certain religious communities are oppressed (muslims, for example). next, you need to understand what systemic means. systematic means you are doing something according to a plan or method. so when people say-
systemic racism, for example, we mean that society have plans and methods to oppress people of color. redlining, segregation, mass incarceration. those are examples of systemic racism. SEXISM is oppressive. men have always oppressed women and have devised methods to control and-
discriminate against women and girls. fga, trafficking, child marriage, domestic violence, discrimination in the workplace, sexual harassment, so on and so forth. im not saying men *cant* experience these things, but on a larger scale they do not.
a lot of people view sexism against men as them being disadvantaged because of gender roles. there is a difference between men being at a disadvantage because of gender roles, and men experiencing sexism. they intertwine but there is a difference!!
