Once you have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer a road unfurls before you that no one has ever navigated before, your cancer is just slightly different to everyone else’s, your prognosis is different, your treatment is different, the side effects are different.
You suddenly find yourself alone, and it’s a bumpy ride. I am grateful for someone like Jo who is in the spotlight to draw awareness to it, but it’s much more than “Pink” it’s actually shite black and stark white. It’s black and white. You live or die
Breast Cancer isn’t pink, it’s deadly and sinister and lurks inside waiting for its opportunity to fuck you up!
