I have never wanted to get involved with this recent rumour. However I have felt that I have to say sth with the recently controversial topic as it has come to a point that @/T50405 can be breaking the civil law and this needs to be addressed right away!
Disclaimer: Please do not send any hate to anyone else who is involved in this case!
There are many suspicious tweets that have speculated whether T50405 is actually Taki or not. However this has not only become an issue to Takoyakis community but also people who know about Taki and I-Land and believe in the rumour. As a result, they've followed this account.
This has become a serious matter because it misleads not only Takoyakis but also other fandoms such as fans from Enhypen, I-LAND and BTS.
There are currently 7100+ followers that follow that account which means Takoyakis basically can't do anything and watch the followers go up because our message is only limited within the Takoyakis communities
The account has been active from the 15th October 2020, and it has been active so far for a week.
Japanese fans have already put out a statement on the 17th October, and many accounts have also put out messages and ask people not to interact with the account. That did not work!

We believe this is now an issue that will cause harm in the future for Taki’s representation/image and we believe some clarifications are needed to clear the rumour. We have formed a team to investigate the situation and have also collected evidence to back up our findings.

Firstly, I want to point out is, this account has changed their username multiple times already:
From /T51561242, to /T15050405, to /T4K1050405, to /TK1050405 & is now @/T50405 (Currently).
If that doesn’t sound suspicious, I don’t know what else can convince you!

So far the account has been posting multiple pictures & even a video that have similar features of Taki or selfies to hint that he could be Taki. However, we don’t get to see his face and this person hasn't publicly admitted/denied that he is Taki
He has posted selfies and also the controversial bowling video
. However, if you look into these more, the selfies look nothing like Taki, and also the bowling video only showing his back, so where do people have the idea of him being Taki in the first place?

This account has been involved many incidents lately, being caught reposting another Instagram user’s photo that doesn't belong to him and shortly deleting the post after being caught:

Not once, but multiple times and we can clearly see he is purposely copying other twitter users @/_maruyamaakane, @/treasuremembers and many other Japanese and Korean users’ posts.
丸山あかね is a virtual idol
in Japan, which belongs to Sony Music. So this behaviour is not only wrong but also copying her tweets is a copyright infringement.

This can also become a Civil Offence
if Sony Music decides to take action. Taki is a Japanese citizen and Civil law is applied to Taki. Because this is not just a tweet, but also involves a character's dialogue and individuality. This is a serious matter

We also found the original owners who own the bowling video and other pictures. We are currently asking for permission of the owner if we can reveal his identity so I am sorry I can't reveal his identity unless we are allowed to do so:

You are probably wondering how did this account blow up as they did not publicly announce that he is Taki nor has he denied it. So how did the rumour start in the first place?
From this point on, please follow the time that is shown on the screen as we have purposely asked one of the team members to screenshot them all so that we can follow the timeline while this happens.
It originally starts from a tweet from @/enhypen_nik which said “I think it’s taki’s twitter” at 15 Oct 20, 23:39 (UTC+8), and then the message being spreaded in a private group chat which led to the account blowing out of proportion.
We are then moved on to the private group conversation, I will blur some people’s username as consideration of their privacy.
The conversation continues however due to it being private chat I will not continue post the conversation. The person in the screenshot has suggested the ideas of his findings and explained the meaning behind the profile picture and also explained that he found it from his friend
The original tweet was posted at 23:39pm, and this user found this account and spread the message to the private group between 23:40pm - 23:47pm. @enhypen_nik is the only follower of @T50405, therefore, this user can only find out this information from @enhypen_nik.
This is also another indication as he had thorough explanations of the account details, pointing out how he thinks it is Taki’s account. No one else would have thought or came up with these conclusions and say it's Taki. (The meaning behind profile pic and suggested ideas)

I have decided to do more research on this and later I have learned that they are both the same person. So why did he say he had found it from his friend in the first place?

I have then also looked into this user @/enhypen_nik, and there are a few posts that show the sight of imitation taking place.
Therefore, I have reason to believe there is some practice that has been taking place of imitating a person. All the posts are exactly the same wording from @/enhypen_members.
It is understandable if a fanbase would copy a member's post and repost it for translation purposes or a record of member’s posts, but for a personal account and using the real name of Niki. All the behaviours have made me question what is the motivation of doing such acts?

We know a lot of people are curious about Taki's whereabouts and are craving for updates to the point that when we hear about Taki "updates" we believe it and in this specific situation with this twitter account is no exception.
This twitter account has garnered so much attention over the past few days ever since it was created. Many of us are guilty of this by commenting, liking, retweeting and by doing so the account spread like wildfire without any concrete evidence that it is actually Taki's or not.
It has led a lot of people to believe that the account is Taki’s, even Taki fans and non-Taki fans. A few Takoyakis have been working hard to gather evidence to prove that this account isn't his.
Now, why are we doing this
We Takoyakis want to protect him from all future rumours and damages that could possibly affect his career
. To do so, we hope that you will cooperate with us. We want everyone to stop interacting with the account and to block
and report it.

Twitter will not be able to do anything with people still interacting with it. It all starts with one person, we hope that you will make a responsible choice and to stop this matter and to avoid future impersonations of any idol.

We have now received a reply from the original owners from the bowling video. This is the confirmation that the video has indeed stolen by @T50405 and we would want everyone to spread this message and report the account NOW. Thank you!
