Fellow Nigerian Youths,

Nothing has united us like the peaceful protests against police brutality and #EndSARS movement in my lifetime. In the last 14 days, we all witnessed the awakening of strength, unity, innovation, strategy, transparency and leadership displayed by us.
Make no mistakes, the voices of the #EndSARS protesters at home, in the diaspora and online were loud and clear around the world. Several of our youths died and there is no way a speech by the President should make us disappointed so much so that we abandon why we started
without a CONCRETE, CLEAR & DULY-TIMED RESOLUTION.

Within 14 days, we have shown what is possible. We created medical team, legal team, feeding millions, 24 hours emergency response helpline, radio station all within 14 days. The world saw the happenings in Nigeria in real time
and we have proven to the government that we are not to be played with. In the face of chaos and disorientation, you indeed showed tenacity, organization and exemplary transparency.

We have shown our hunger for a NEW NIGERIA that will be a countable and deliver our wishes
Again make no mistake, our struggle and voices have not been defeated. More than ever before, we have huge tasks ahead of us. It is time for advocacy for a better, youth-led and transparent Nigeria. We can not afford to not plan for 2023. The government of each state is asking
That we provide 2 representatives on the panels that they have created as they attend to our requests and compensate families who lost their youths

The death of our heroes will go to waste if we do not come together to get the right people elected and nominated.
A house divided against itself shall not stand. Therefore, we must shun factions. We must work together (diaspora, at home, educated, non-educated, Muslim, Christians, Atheist, LGBTQ+ and so on).

Please note that as you mourn, Nigerians in diaspora mourns with you.
For so long, the rights of diaspora Nigerians to cast our ballot has been taken away from us. As we form the coalition, we must include in our agenda, the bill that will enable over 5 million diaspora Nigerians to be included in the electoral processes.

Nigerian currently have
2 strong political parties and we must understand that it is time to create a third one that will be youth-led, fully funded by us and with full transparency and mission to serve the people.

Our fight is beyond #EndSARS now. The decay in Nigeria must not continue beyond 2023
Here are some suggestions of a way forward,
⁃Organize Monthly Coalition Meeting: to consolidate our mission and way forward
⁃Elect 2 youth representatives statewide, national and diaspora representatives to sit on the different panels set up by different state governments
⁃Conduct a Survey to enable people convey their ideas and vote on priorities
⁃Mobilize and fundraise: we can’t do much without funds. Let’s get that go-fund-me done.
⁃Register a political party and start setting up all the necessary arms
⁃Planning for 2023 electioj: e-voting, diaspora-voting and rig-free voting requires planning.

- Nominate worthy candidates for all levels of government (home and abroad). Set up a panel to verify and vet candidates who are interested in contesting.
⁃Petition: we must continue to issue petition as we need them and get our leaders knowing that we will hold them accountable locally and with international help.
Social Media Domination: #sorosoke and keep our presence and continue to take a stand on social media
To our falling heroes, we will never forget you. To all the funders, thank you. To all Nigerian youths, please rest, reflect and unify our voices, resources and smartness into a coalition that nothing and no one can defeat.

Peace & Unity,

Dr. Adeola Olubamiji
