What I& #39;m missing most of all are the liminal spaces - before and after meetings; corridor/ coffee machine chats; the & #39;by the way& #39; moments; serendipity; coincidence; happenstance; random interactions; nice surprises. They& #39;re all being squeezed out by this virtual life
What I& #39;m getting (and trying to share) is a LOT of positive affirmation; kindness; gratitude; care - and I& #39;m reminded that kindness is limitless so long as it is reciprocated
I& #39;m also getting an unprecedented bumper crop of figs and I& #39;m farting like I& #39;m about to take off, so this solitary confinement consulting has one advantage
and one final thought - I& #39;ve had a standing desk and have been mostly barefoot since lockdown and I& #39;m never going back to sitting down or heels again
