Bristol City Mayor @MarvinJRees shares updates on Bristol’s response to #COVID19

Bristol cases are now above the England average. Increases are across both the younger and older working-age groups. We are looking behind the data at what is driving figures up. (1/4)
Together with Bristol organisations, we are working to contain the virus but everyone must play their part. Follow health and distancing advice – wash hands, wear mask where required, social distancing and rule of six. Self-isolate if you develop symptoms and get tested. (2/4)
We’re at the end of a school term like no other. We thank schools, staff, parents, carers, children, young people for adapting so quickly, having robust plans in place and putting in huge effort during difficult time. We recognise its difficult for those self-isolating. (3/4)
Next week is half term for many #Bristol families. Take care if you travel and follow safety guidelines.

Halloween also falls next week. Have fun, but consider alternative ways of celebrating, respect rule of six and people not wanting to take part. Keep #Bristol safe. (4/4)
