and yes there may be people that are harsh at first conceded if the fact that everyone on twitter hasn’t gotten the idea to not use fonts in their head right now. and i apologize on their behalf.
but even if u are an nd person doesn’t mean you share the same problems as people who use screen speech, and no i am not saying nd people shouldn’t speak on this and saying they could use whatever font they can but nobody is the same, people can’t do things u can.
and i’m here to educate. not fight. not drama. just teaching
i am not speaking above people who have problems but i do think that taking fonts out of bios, pinned, dn, etc. is being considerate to those who can’t read or understand text well, for example, dyslexic people, adhd and more
to explain more of text speech here it is. text speech is a ability on your phone to press and click a sentence for example and it reads it out to you in speaker, like the video above, and fonts are a hacked way of using the text keyboard so the phone using speech cant understand
yes fonts may look pretty but it is not going to poison you if you take them off, some rp accs i follow don’t have fonts anywhere and they still rp and act like many do. i’m asking people sincerely to take them off, if you have any questions feel free to comment for me to respond
and to add to this there may be android users who cant see the fonts and are nd, what then? how are they supposed to know what you say? this thread is a post asking you to be considerate to those who aren’t as able as you might be
fonts could hurt people’s heads, activate triggers, cause a panic attack and more. and yes ableism isn’t just concluded to social media fonts but it is so much more, i am not saying ableism just amounts to fonts, it concludes jobs, inequality, bullying, and more +
but if we want to keep twitter a safe place for people we need to accept everyone.
and ableism is so disgusting and disrespectful in the real world but even in social media how are people supposed to fit in if they can’t even read.
and this thread isn’t for ‘clout’ or likes, this is to educate and learn. nothing more and nothing less.

and another thing, people who use screen speech cant screenshot and read it . that’s the reason for text speech. they can’t read a screenshot. it’s a picture not text.
