Everything you should know about future #NewCase (aka #DirkGently's Holistic Detective Agency: The Animated Series)

*I think it's right time for people to be aware about it*

Dirk Gently animated series is currently in developement and its creation is held by BBCA/Netflix show producer Arvind Ethan David, his company Prodigal Enternainment and animation studio Stoopid Buddy Stoodios (Robot Chicken, Adam Ruins Everything: Reanimated History)

Arvind Ethan David is already hired new writer and animation showrunner (their name aren't revealed yet). And right now they're developing the main plot and characters' design. Which means that former notorious DGHDA writer Max Landis ISN'T involved in current work anymore

As you can see in the first screenshot of previous post, there's no season order yet, and there's still no information about number, length of episodes and official date. But they're still working on it, despite the fact some processes are delayed due to COVID-19

And YES, we do have some really great concepts for possible (future) #DirkGently animated series showing some hints of its plot (this is the latest ones revealed a month ago)

At the beginning of creation process, #DirkGently was developed by Six Point Harness animation studio. But, for some reason, Arvind's team changed the animation studio, and now Stoopid Buddy Stoodios is in charge. Here's what first animated concepts by 6PH look like:

By the way, the plot. According to Arvind Ethan David's words, they're planning animated series to be continuation of BBCA show and brand new story at the same time. Idea of its plot was heavily inspired by Oscar-winning animated movie Spiderman: Into The Spiderverse

Which means we may see different versions of #DirkGently in animated show (book, comic and Stephen Mangan versions - or even some original ones like fem!Dirk). Also, Arvind Ethan promised some old characters and storylines from BBCA show. For example, Bart Curlish is teased here

There's some probable reasons why Arvind's team makes animated series with new plot. Firstly, they want to attract new fans and keep old fans at the same time. Secondly, BBCA characters were moved to new story with no neccesarity to carry on Landis's story who was outed as rapist
