For today’s #ShareTheMicInCyber event, I am honored to introduce you to my friend @privacykai (Kai Koppoe). Kai is a third year student at Fordham Law School and is currently a Legal and Policy Intern at the Future of Privacy Forum & Fordham Fellow.
Let me (or her) know if you’d like her full resume. Look for her upcoming post in the Fordham IP journal that discusses Apple's new privacy features (scheduled for October 29). http://www.fordhamiplj.org/blog .
While Kai is still in law school, she received her @privacypros CIPP-US certification in August and is planning to take the Europe certification early next year.
She also has a variety of privacy experience already, in different industries. She’s an Online Privacy Project Fellow at the Fordham Center on Law and Information Policy.
She worked as a Data Privacy and Compliance Intern last summer (mostly on international privacy issues) for a social media company, and has worked as a law clerk for a major aviation business.
You aren’t going to see many people in law school with her background, drive and experience. Follow her, contact her, meet her. She’s the future of our profession.
You can follow @KirkJNahrawork.
