If she's the mom, I'm not bothered by it in this case. I appreciate that it works narratively & is also fitting for the worldbuilding

stories abt immortal-mortal couples & those set in the past generally follow paths that don't necessarily align w/modern Western standards

calculating her age, she must've been around 18, give or take

in the past, humans didn't have the technology we have now, so their lifespans were WAY shorter, so this isn't strange in that specific context, esp when you count the fact that they traveled together only for a year

and he never had another role beyond that of protector, previously

he left her to grow up away from him, in contact with ppl like her so she'd mature as her own person in the context of humanity

if, when grown up, she decided to pursue something with him, i'm not against it

the show never painted them in a romantic light previously (THANK YOU FOR AVOIDING THAT TYPE OF BS)

they seem to be handling this well, so far, if we look a the premise

I get that this will still make some ppl uncomfortable, but please express ur dislike in your own spaces

this whole thing with the kids being alone, and then separated, while the parents seem to have disappeared, is all weird, but I'm sure there's an explanation in due time
